We are seeking a motivated and professional Service Advisor to join our team in Newton Abbot. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service within an automotive environment.

Salary: £26,500 to £27,500 per annum with overtime (dependent on experience). Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Manage service bookings, job cards, and workshop schedules.
  • Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Communicate clearly with customers on vehicle progress, costs, and completion times.
  • Upsell additional services and products where appropriate.
  • Ensure all documentation and compiling estimates are completed accurately.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Ideally we are looking for
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop environment.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with dealership or service systems (preferred).
