- We are currently recruiting for a
- Warehouse Operative / Machine Operator to join a busy and growing team based in
Uckfield .
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties, forklift driving, and machine operation Guillotine , ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment.
Permanent position available after 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach where required)
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely
- Picking and packing orders
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Assisting with machine set‑up and basic maintenance
- Carrying out quality checks on products
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
- Valid forklift licence preferred (for FLT duties)
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn machine operation
