This is a varied, outdoor role where you'll help tackle environmental crime, engage with the public, and support efforts to keep local areas clean, safe, and welcoming.
What You'll Be Doing
- Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences
- Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly‑tipping, and waste management
- Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and carrying out follow‑ups
- Investigating incidents and gathering evidence
- Responding to public complaints
- Supporting compliance through engagement with residents and businesses
- Using surveillance equipment where required
- Maintaining accurate records and reports

- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Professional and calm in challenging situations
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
