Part-Time Cleaning Operative (Enhanced DBS with Children Required)
Location: Milton Keynes College I.O.T., MK3 6DR
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Average 10 hours per week (Flexi Contract)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00
About the Role
Kingdom Cleaning is looking for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at Milton Keynes College I.O.T. in MK3.
This is a part-time, flexi contract role where you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. Due to the nature of the site, an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning all areas within the contract to a high standard
- Vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard floors, including sweeping and mopping
- Dusting and wiping surfaces, desks, shelves, and equipment
- Emptying waste and recycling bins and disposing of rubbish correctly
- Cleaning internal glass, windows, and doors
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks, and washroom facilities
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
- Cleaning kitchen and staff welfare areas
- Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, classrooms, corridors, and break rooms
- Following all health and safety procedures and site requirements
What We're Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check
