We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy and growing team based in Lancing. This is a hands-on role that will involve a mixture of forklift work, warehouse duties and outdoor work. We welcome applications from candidates with any level of forklift experience, whether you hold a current licence or have previous experience operating forklifts in a work environment, as training can be provided. The key requirement is that you have a good understanding of forklift operations and are confident working within a warehouse setting.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Duties Include:
- Operating Counterbalance and Flexi trucks
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Wrapping and strapping pallets ready for despatch
- General warehouse and factory duties
- Working both indoors and outdoors
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous forklift experience of any level
- Excellent attention to detail
- A flexible and positive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual duties
