Location: Boysnope Wharf, Irlam
Additional locations: Altrincham & Oldham
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 07:45 - 18:15
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Shop Operative to join a busy reuse shop based at Boysnope Wharf in Irlam.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving customer service, till operation, deliveries, merchandising and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the shop.
There may also be occasions when you are required to work at other shop locations in Altrincham or Oldham.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Serving customers and assisting with enquiries
- Operating the till and processing card payments
- Receiving and taking deliveries into the shop
- Cleaning and preparing furniture for sale
- Merchandising and arranging products to a high standard
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and presentable
- Carrying out general cleaning duties, including hoovering and mopping
- Maintaining a safe, organised and welcoming shop environment
- Supporting the wider team with general shop duties as required
About You
The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience and be confident dealing with members of the public.
You will be:
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy, practical environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of carrying out general shop duties, including cleaning and moving furniture
- Flexible and willing to work at different locations when required
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented environment
Essential Requirements
- Customer service experience - essential
- Full UK driving licence - essential
- Access to your own car - essential, as you may be required to work at the Altrincham or Oldham locations

£13.45 per hour
4 days on / 4 days off
Working hours: 07:45 - 18:15
