This Fire Sprinkler Project Manager position is based in Gillingham, with travel to customer sites as required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00. The role is permanent and offers a competitive salary depending on experience, together with an excellent benefits package.
As the Fire Sprinkler Project Manager, you\'ll take ownership of the complete project lifecycle, managing commercial, industrial and retail sprinkler installation projects from contract award through to commissioning and final handover. You\'ll develop project programmes, manage budgets, coordinate labour and procurement, and work closely with clients, contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You\'ll monitor project progress through regular site visits, lead project meetings, manage technical and commercial risks, oversee variations and change control, and ensure all works comply with LPC Rules, BS EN 12845 and company procedures. You\'ll also drive continuous improvement and promote a collaborative approach across the project team.
You will need:
- Proven experience managing fire sprinkler installation projects
- Strong technical knowledge of sprinkler systems, including LPC Rules and BS EN 12845
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from award through to completion
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, costs and variations
- Full UK driving licence
