Are you an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy leading by example, solving complex technical problems and delivering outstanding customer service? If so, this Senior Sprinkler Service Engineer role could be perfect for you!
This position is based in Gillingham, with travel to customer sites as required. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00. The role is permanent and paying up to £45,000 depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package.
As the Senior Sprinkler Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining, fault finding, testing, commissioning and repairing a wide range of commercial and residential sprinkler systems
- Supporting engineers with complex faults
- Mentoring junior members of the team
- Building strong relationships with customers by providing expert technical advice
- Ensuring the highest standards of service
- Producing detailed service reports
- Identifying opportunities for remedial works and system upgrades
- Working closely with Service Managers to support quotations, tenders and the continued growth of the sprinkler division
You will need:
- Extensive experience servicing and maintaining commercial and/or residential sprinkler systems
- Strong knowledge of BS EN 12845, BS 9251, LPC Rules and other relevant fire protection standards
- Experience inspecting, servicing and maintaining wet riser and dry riser systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
- Full UK driving licence
