We ar ecurrently looking for reliable and hardworking Food Operatives to join our team in a busy food production factory based in Gateshead, Team Valley. The successfull candidates will assis with the prepration, handling and packing of food products while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality and safety.
Key Responsibilites:
- Preparing and handling food products according to company standards
- Packing, labeling and checking products before dispatch
- Operating basic food production machinery where required
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with stock handling and movement of products within the production area
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Reporting any faults, issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food production or factory work is essential
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work in a fact paced environment.
