Food Production Operative

We are recruiting for Food Production Operatives.

£12.71 (day shift) basic rate

£13.84 (night shift) basic rate

Acomb, York YO26 6AZ

Previous experience is not required

Monday to Friday

Rotation AM/PM (one week AM 6:00 - 14:00, second week 14:00 - 22:00)

Night shift 22:00-06:00

Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks.

The role:

Production Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

• Packing, labelling, and palletising finished products
• Carrying out visual quality checks and reporting any defects
• Cleaning duties
• Packing products into boxes
• Preparing workstations ready for production
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Reporting issues to team leader

Requirements:

Production Operatives ideally need to fulfil the following requirements:

• Be able to work 8 hr shift
• Previous experience is not required
• Being able to commute to Acomb (York), YO26 6AZ
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
