We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a competitive hourly rate and a weekly rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern
- Week 1 - Early Shift
- Monday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Tuesday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Wednesday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 1:00pm
- Week 2 - Late Shift
- Monday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Tuesday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Wednesday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Friday: 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Duties Include
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Supplying production lines with materials.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Carrying out stock movements and stock checks.
- General warehouse duties as required.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Willingness to undertake general warehouse duties alongside FLT work.
