About the Role
Looking to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact? Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting an experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead from the front in West Thurrock. You'll play a key role in tackling environmental crime, supporting your team, and ensuring high standards across all operations. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - combining frontline enforcement with team leadership in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading from the front - carrying out patrols and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices
- Managing and supporting a team of Enforcement Officers
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across your area
- Liaising with Local Authority partners and key stakeholders
- Investigating incidents and responding to public concerns
- Coaching and training new team members
- Monitoring performance, standards, and compliance
- Preparing reports, case files, and supporting legal processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (essential)
- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Professional and calm under pressure
- Ability to manage performance and motivate a team
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of environmental enforcement (desirable)
