About the Role
Looking to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact? Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting an experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead operations in Crawley. You’ll play a key role in tackling environmental crime, supporting your team, and ensuring consistently high standards across all enforcement activity. This is a hands‑on leadership role, combining frontline enforcement duties with team management in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading from the front by carrying out patrols and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs)
- Managing daily deployment and overseeing enforcement activity on site
- Taking full responsibility for day‑to‑day team performance and operations
- Supporting, coaching, and developing Enforcement Officers
- Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and stakeholder communication
- Investigating incidents and responding to public concerns
- Monitoring team performance, compliance, and standards
- Preparing reports, case files, and supporting legal processes
- Setting a strong example through professional conduct and performance

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (essential)
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage performance effectively
- Professional, calm, and decisive under pressure
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of environmental enforcement (desirable)
