About the Role

Kingdom Group is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Concierge Security Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living, Westbourne Avenue, Hull.

Working within a supported housing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, contractors, and staff.

This is a night-based role where you will provide a visible security presence, manage access control, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional security presence throughout the site.
  • Monitor and control access to the building.
  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and welfare concerns.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity.
  • Complete accurate incident and occurrence reports.
  • Support residents with enquiries and provide assistance where appropriate.
  • Act as the first point of contact during out-of-hours periods.
  • Carry out health and safety inspections and report hazards.
  • Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
  • Liaise with emergency services when required.
  • Ensure site policies and procedures are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional, approachable, and reliable attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Good observation and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous security, concierge, supported housing, or customer service experience is desirable.
