ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall, W8 7NX
Pay: £14.80 per hour | Weekly Pay
Hours: 22.5 - 40 hours per week
Shifts: Monday - Sunday | 4 on 4 off rota
About the Role
Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for confident, professional, and proactive Environmental Enforcement Officers to support the local community within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
This is a field-based role where you will help reduce environmental crime, promote compliance, and improve public spaces by enforcing local regulations and educating the public. You will play a key role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards while helping to create cleaner and safer communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrolling assigned areas to identify environmental offences
- Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and waste management
- Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate
- Investigating incidents, gathering evidence, and preparing reports
- Responding to public complaints and conducting follow-up visits
- Monitoring compliance and taking further action where necessary
- Preparing case files and supporting legal proceedings where required
- Working closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents
- Using surveillance equipment where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

- Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience is desirable

- Role is initially offered on a temporary basis
- Opportunity to transfer to a permanent Kingdom contract may be available
