About the Role
Kingdom Group, a key partner to Tesco, is expanding its Retail Security team in Cambridge. We are looking for confident, professional, and reliable Security Officers to join our team. This is a flexible role where you will provide a strong and visible security presence, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues in a modern, customer-focused retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrolling stores to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues
- Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitoring premises and responding to incidents
- Completing accurate reports and recording observations
- Working closely with Tesco colleagues to support store operations
- Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, confident, and reliable approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Own transport is essential

Additional Information
You will be required to provide a full five-year checkable employment history. You will receive a contract of employment from your employer separately. Pay is provided weekly (every Friday) via HIVE 360 Payroll Services. This role is initially on a temporary basis and not directly employed by Kingdom Service Group. There may be the opportunity in the future to transfer onto a permanent Kingdom contract.
