About The Role
Kingdom Group, in partnership with Tesco, is seeking a professional and flexible Retail Security Officer to provide relief cover across multiple Tesco locations. This role supports stores during holidays, sickness absence, and operational requirements while maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a leading security provider, with the potential to progress into a permanent core store position as opportunities become available.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor premises to maintain safety and security
- Prevent theft, damage, and unauthorised access
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity
- Control access for staff, visitors, and contractors
- Complete incident reports and daily records accurately
- Provide professional customer service and assistance
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements
- Liaise with emergency services when required
- Support store management and colleagues as needed
Relief Cover & Flexibility Requirements
You will be required to provide cover across the following Tesco locations:
- Wisbech - PE14 0RG
- Market Deeping - PE6 8UD
- Peterborough Express - PE1 1TA
- Paston Express - PE4 7DH
- Werrington - PE4 6NA
The successful candidate must be able to travel and work within a 10 to 15-mile radius of these locations.
