Shopping Centre Security Officer (Support Role) - Cockhedge Shopping Centre

Location: Cockhedge Shopping Centre, WA1 2QH

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week, Monday - Sunday

• 06:30 - 14:30
• 14:30 - 22:30

Role Type: Permanent Support Role

We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Cockhedge Shopping Centre, Warrington. This is a support position providing weekend cover, holiday cover, and sickness cover across the site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the shopping centre, its retailers, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening up and securing the shopping centre.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to incidents.
• Conducting regular patrols throughout the centre.
• Assisting retailers with security-related issues and queries.
• Supporting members of the public and providing excellent customer service.
• Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate incident and patrol records.
• Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment at all times.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous security experience in a retail or shopping centre environment is desirable.

Shift Pattern

• Weekend working plus holiday and sickness cover.
• 06:30 - 14:30
• 14:30 - 22:30
