Kingdom People are recruiting for several warehouse operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Manchester, Middleton (M24 2RP). The customer is a leading e-commerce warehouse that operates within sports/clothing environment.
The Role
- Warehouse Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive): Checking that the product matches the packaging
- Packing products using hand scanner
- Picking products from location (clothes/shoes)
- Following site rules and procedures
- Filling in paperwork if required
- Quality control of products
- Reporting issues to team leader
- Manual handling will be required
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate product matching to packaging
- Operate hand scanners for packing
- Pick items from designated locations (clothes/shoes)
- Maintain adherence to site rules and procedures
- Complete required paperwork when needed
- Conduct quality control checks
- Report issues to the team leader promptly
- Handle manual handling tasks as required
Requirements
- Be able to work a 12-hour shift
- Previous Warehouse Experience Required
- Must be able to commute to Middleton (M24 2RP)
- Basic English communication (written and spoken)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Salary and Schedule
- £13.11 per hour
- £19.66 per hour overtime
- 4on 4off
- 10pm– 6am
- Temporary to permanent opportunities available
