We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Machine Operator to join a busy and growing team based in Uckfield. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties, forklift driving, and machine operation, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Permanent position available after 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts (counterbalance/reach as required)
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely
- Picking and packing orders
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Assisting with machine set-up and basic maintenance
- Carrying out quality checks on products
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
- Valid forklift licence preferred (for FLT duties)
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible attitude
