Kingdom Academy have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Housing Tutor to join their established team.

The Senior Housing Tutor provides academic and practical support to students, professionals, or residents in the field of senior housing, assisted living.

They facilitate learning through lectures, one-on-one tutoring, workshops, and practical guidance to enhance knowledge of senior housing management, policies, and best practices.

Where : Remote with occasional travel to client premises or Kingdom Head Office, WA12 area.

When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP!

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am- 17:00pm.

Salary : £40,000.00 Per Annum.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • Responsibility for delivering housing workshops to learners on apprenticeship programmes and commercial courses.
  • Prepare and deliver workshops (face to face or remotely using Microsoft teams).
  • Assess learner work.
  • Able to self-manage, get learners through the programme in a timely way and meet Kingdom Academy Key Performance Indicators.
  • Produce reports as required.

What we need from you – role skill base requirements:

  • Must be able to deliver accredited housing qualifications at minimum Level 4.
  • Experience of delivering engaging and interactive workshops remotely using Microsoft Teams (Essential).
  • Use of learner management systems.
  • Delivery of regulated housing qualifications.
  • Preparing and delivering workshops to learners.
  • Assessing learner work.
  • Level 4 CIH qualification (essential).
  • Level 5 CIH qualification (desirable or willing to work towards).
  • TAQA/CAVA (L3 Assessor qualification or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training minimum teaching qualification requirement (essential or must be prepared to achieve this).
  • GCSE English and Maths Level 2 (essential).
  • Corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (desirable).
  • A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance.
