Security Support Officer in Selby

Kingdom Group have a great opportunity for a Security Support Officer to join the team, working at a site in Selby, YO8 area.

Salary

£14.18 per hour

Hours

Average 40 hours per week as per site rota. 06:00 – 18:00 / 18:00 – 06:00 Days, Nights & Weekends, Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:00 / 10:00 – 18:00.

About the Role

• Operation of Gatehouse’s, Weighbridge & CCTV.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Conduct safety and security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Deal with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
• Tasks vary greatly and include, but are not limited to, mobile patrols, foot patrols, gatehouse duties, vehicle searches.

About You

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence essential.
• SIA CCTV Licence essential.
• Own transport & Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good IT Skills.
• Proven experience as Security Officer, Gatehouse duties & CCTV duties.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Flexible/Available at short notice.
