SIA Door Supervisor Licenced Security Guard

Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to The University of South Wales, and we have a great opportunity for an SIA Door Supervisor Licenced Security Guard to join our award‑winning Security Team, dealing with many staff, students and visitors on a daily basis.

Location

Trepoft, CF37 area.

Start date

We’re looking to get the right person into the team ASAP!

Hours

On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Sunday various shifts available 07:00am – 19:00pm & 19:00pm – 07:00am.

Pay Rate

£12.60 per hour

About The Role

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and students by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors to the site.
  • Supervise and control site access including the opening and locking down of site buildings.
  • Operating and monitoring the CCTV cameras.
  • Liaise with the client to fulfil security requirements on site.
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner.

About You

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential as driving a company vehicle).
  • A full five‑year checkable employment history.
