Hours: On average 30 hours per week, shifts as per site rota to cover days, nights and weekends. Shift patterns of 06:00-18:00 and 20:00-08:00.

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour.

About The Role

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors to the site.
  • Covering reception and booking visitors and contractors in and on site.
  • Supervise and control site access including the opening and locking down of site buildings.
  • Operating and monitoring the CCTV cameras.
  • Issuing visitor and contractor passes when required and supporting in emergency situations.
  • Liaise with the client to fulfil security requirements on site.
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner.

About You

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
  • A full five-year checkable employment history.
