Retail Security Officer

Location and Start Date

Where: Morrisons store at Consett DH8.

When: We’re looking to fill the position immediately with the right candidate!

Working Hours and Salary

Hours: On average 30 – 44 hours per week, 4 days on, 4 days off, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, or 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sundays.

Salary: £12.21 per hour.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
• Providing a visible deterrent within the store
• Completing reports by recording observations, incidents, and surveillance activities
• Working as part of a team to meet customer requirements
• Handling difficult situations professionally and safely

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional approach, good judgment, and attention to detail
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential
• A valid SIA Licence or application in process
• A full five-year checkable employment history
