Kingdom Services Group are a key partner to The University of South Wales, and we have a great opportunity for an SIA Door Supervisor Licenced Security Guard to join our award-winning Security Team, dealing with many staff, students and visitors on a daily basis.
Where: Treforest, CF37 area
Plus £250 Welcome bonus & £200 bonus if you have a CCTV licence, both payable after 3 months!
(Own transport and full UK Manual driving licence is essential for this role)
When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP
Hours: On average 60+ hours per week. 3 Days 3 Nights 3 Off. 12 hour Day / Night / Weekend shifts as per site rota. 07:00 am - 19:00 pm / 19:00 pm - 07:00 am.
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

About the role:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and students by patrolling and monitoring the premises
- Act as first point of contact for visitors to the site
- Supervise and control site access including the opening and locking down of site buildings
- Operating and monitoring the CCTV cameras
- Liaise with the client to fulfil security requirements on site
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner
About you:
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (or applied for) AND own transport / Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential as driving a company vehicle)
- A full five-year checkable employment history
