An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Group, working at site in Nottingham, NG7 area.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off to cover shifts of 18:00pm - 06:00am.
Pay rate: £12.60 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Manage the booking and dispatch of all vehicles to site
- Conduct trailer temperature checks and ensure correct sealing procedures
- Maintain and enforce site biosecurity standards
- Control and issue site keys in line with security protocols
- Monitor and manage site access control
- Provide out-of-hours reception and security support
- Operate and manage site weighbridge activities
- Monitor and uphold animal welfare standards
- Carry out pallet and basket condition checks
- Conduct staff and vehicle searches, including within production areas
- Complete and maintain waste documentation accurately
- Perform routine site chiller temperature checks
Person Specification
- A valid SIA licence or applied for.
- A full five year checkable employment history.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
- Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
- IT skills.
