What You'll Be Doing

As Bid Manager, you will own the end-to-end TE20 tender process, ensuring every submission is delivered on time, fully compliant and to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing the complete tender lifecycle from opportunity through to submission.
  • Leading bid planning, coordination and deadline management activities.
  • Writing, editing and improving high-quality tender responses.
  • Coordinating bid teams and facilitating tender kick-off and solution-development sessions.
  • Working with senior leadership, operational teams and subject matter experts to develop compelling solutions.
  • Challenging and strengthening content to maximise scoring potential.
  • Supporting new business opportunities, retenders and contract retention activity.
  • Managing bid reviews, quality assurance processes and final submission approvals.
  • Producing presentations, clarification responses and post-tender documentation.
  • Maintaining a high-quality bid library including case studies, evidence and approved content.
  • Monitoring tender performance and implementing lessons learned to improve future submissions.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Bid Manager, Bid Writer or similar role.
  • Proven evidence of producing successful tender submissions and contract wins.
  • Experience within a service-led business environment.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple live tenders simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • APMP certification, or actively working towards it.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
