Retail Security Officer - Tesco Partnership
Location: Tesco Great Dunmow, CM6 1SF
Pay: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week
Shift: Wednesday to Saturday - 06:00am - 15:00pm
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence required
About the Role
Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join the team at Tesco Great Dunmow.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment while maintaining a safe and secure shopping experience. You will help protect customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence within the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
- Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate reports and maintain records of incidents
- Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
- Support store management and colleagues as required
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
