We are recruiting Support Workers to cover shifts in homeless hostels and supported living projects across Basingstoke, Aldershot and surrounding Hampshire areas.
Shifts include early, late, long day, sleep‑in and night work. You can work consistently within one project or across multiple projects, gaining a varied and flexible experience.
Responsibilities
- Support adults and post‑16 young people who have experienced trauma or exhibit challenging behaviours.
- Provide emotional and practical assistance while maintaining safe boundaries.
- Assist with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, meals, and medication where required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote well‑being and recovery.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience supporting adults and/or post‑16 young people.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patience.
- Emotional resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviours.
- Willingness to undertake training and follow health & social care principles.
