Location: Dartford – DA1 area

Pay: Β£13.97 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday to Sunday – 07:00–15:00 or 08:00–16:00

Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

About The Role

Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for confident, professional, and proactive Environmental Enforcement Officers to support the local community in Dartford. This is a field-based role where you will carry out enforcement duties, promote compliance with environmental legislation, and help improve public spaces. You will play a key role in tackling environmental crime and supporting community safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out foot patrols across public areas to identify environmental offences
  • Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, and anti-social behaviour
  • Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) using handheld devices or manual systems
  • Investigating incidents and gathering evidence for potential prosecutions
  • Attending court proceedings where required
  • Reporting environmental and community safety concerns to relevant departments
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and audit trails
  • Managing photographic and body-worn video evidence
  • Completing administrative duties in line with procedures
