Join a leading name in precision manufacturing based in Waterlooville. Our client is a premier Injection Moulding specialist serving the UK and Europe. We are recruiting a dedicated Machine Operator to join their Injection Moulding production team. As an Injection Moulding Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of high-tech Injection Moulding equipment to produce precision components.
Important Note on Accessibility: If you are looking to work the Double Day Shifts, please keep in mind the site location. Public transport schedules can be very tight for these shift times; however, if you drive and own your own car, you will be fine. A valid Driving Licence is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Injection Moulding Machine Operation: Efficiently run and monitor Injection Moulding machines to hit production targets.
- Operator Quality Checks: Perform visual inspections on all Injection Moulding parts to ensure they meet technical specs.
- Machine Maintenance: Assist with basic machine care and ensure the Injection Moulding area remains clean and safe.
- Component Finishing: Use operator tools to trim excess material from Injection Moulding components.
- Problem Solving: Identify and report any machine faults or Injection Moulding process issues to the supervisor.
Shift Patterns & Pay
Two options are available for the Machine Operator role in Waterlooville. Both operate Monday–Friday.
- Option 1: Double Day Machine Operator (Rotating)
Week 1 (Early): 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Week 2 (Late): 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour - Option 2: Night Shift Machine Operator
Fixed Hours: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour
