Location: Hull, HU1 area.
Hours: On average 37.5 hours per week, shifts as per site rota (rotational weekends). Monday to Sunday, 8 hour shifts between 07:00am - 19:00pm.
Pay Rate: Β£12.62 per hour. Weekly Pay.
A clean full UK manual driving licence is required for this position, as you will be driving a company vehicle.

What the role is:
The Environmental Enforcement Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards by enforcing environmental laws and regulations. This position involves investigating environmental violations, issuing warnings, fines, or citations, and educating the public about environmental responsibilities. The officer will work closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents to promote compliance and help reduce environmental crimes such as littering, fly-tipping, and pollution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Law Enforcement: Enforce environmental regulations and local by-laws relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, waste management, noise pollution, and other environmental concerns. Patrol assigned areas to detect violations and ensure compliance with environmental laws. Investigate reports of environmental offenses from the public and respond promptly to complaints.
- Issuing Fines and Notices: Issue fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and citations to individuals or businesses for non-compliance with environmental laws. Prepare and serve legal documents, including warning notices and fines, in accordance with local laws. Conduct follow-up visits to ensure compliance with issued notices and take further action if necessary.
- Communication: Express information clearly and concisely to ensure understanding.
- Flexibility: Adapt to change and work effectively in various situations and weather conditions.
- Learning and Development: Participate in our training course to gain insight into daily duties, current legislation, communication, and interaction aspects of the role, earning a recognized qualification in environmental awareness.

You will receive a contract of employment from your employer separately. You will receive your pay weekly on a Friday from HIVE 360 Payroll Services Provider. You will not be working for Kingdom Service Group directly, although will have the opportunity to request your temporary agreement to be transferred to a Kingdom Contract in the future.
