HGV Class 2 Driver | Petersfield

Are you a Class 2 driver looking for a stable local role with an excellent work-life balance?

We are recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a close-knit municipal team in Petersfield. Working as part of a 3 to 5 person crew, you will be the lead driver responsible for completing collection rounds across Petersfield and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, weekday work with great earning potential and an early finish.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: £17.88 per hour
• Overtime Rate: £26.82 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 03:00pm
• Job Finish Bonus: Once your team's daily duties are complete, you are free to head home while still being paid for the full day.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and manoeuvring HGV Class 2 refuse vehicles safely.
• Navigating established routes and stop‑off points efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with your crew, assisting with collections where necessary.
• Reporting any vehicle incidents, defects, or operational damages to the supervisor.

What We Need From You

• A valid HGV Class 2 Licence.
• Digital Tacho Card & CPC.
• A maximum of 6 points on your licence (for insurance purposes).
• Your own safety footwear.
