Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 31 Hours Per Week
Working Days: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Shift Patterns:
- Monday: 07:00 - 15:00
- Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00
- Friday: 15:00 - 00:00
- Sunday: 11:00 - 17:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Security Licence Essential
Kingdom Services Group is currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Harlow, CM20 2TG. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, customer-focused and reliable Security Officer to support a busy retail environment, helping to create a safe and secure shopping experience for customers and colleagues.
As a Retail Security Officer, you will act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour while supporting store operations and ensuring site security standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas.
- Provide a highly visible security presence to deter theft, shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
- Monitor store activity and respond professionally to incidents and security concerns.
- Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.
- Support store colleagues in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when required.
- Liaise with store management, emergency services and local authorities when necessary.
- Assist with loss prevention and stock protection initiatives.
- Deal confidently and professionally with challenging situations.
What We're Looking For
- A valid SIA Security Licence is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable and confident approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Full 5-year checkable employment history.
- Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to support store operations.
