Do you enjoy hands‑on work, operating machinery and producing high‑quality components within a fast‑paced production environment? We’re supporting a specialist manufacturing business that is looking to recruit a Spot Welder Operative to join their production team.
What’s the role all about? As a Spot Welder Operative, you’ll be responsible for operating resistance welding equipment to manufacture precision components in line with production and quality standards. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, consistency and quality are key. You’ll work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key responsibilities
- Operate resistance welding machinery and associated production equipment
- Manufacture components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions
- Carry out visual inspections and quality checks on finished products
- Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications
- Support production targets and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Identify and report faults, defects or production issues
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Follow all health, safety and quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
What you’ll need
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Previous experience operating machinery or production equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to follow engineering drawings or work instructions
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills

Desirable
- Previous resistance welding experience
