An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at the ferry terminal site in Gourock, PA19 area. This position is working as a security officer onboard the ferry vessel between Gourock and Dunoon. Keeping public and staff onboard safe by regular patrolling and monitoring of all onboard.

Hours: On average 23 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Friday/Saturday 18:00pm - 01:45am & Sundays 16:00pm - 23:15
Pay: £14.10 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Provide security presence to prevent vandalism of ferry terminal building
- Provide security presence to act as a deterrent and to respond to any anti-social behaviour onboard ferry between Gourock and Dunoon
- Pre-empt and prevent any disorder onboard vessels whilst ferries are in crossing
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site
- Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site
- Complete various security documentation
- Liaise with manager effectively and efficiently
- Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom
- Supervise and control site access
- Conduct regular site patrols
- Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder
Person Specification:
- A valid SIA licence; or applied for
- A full five year checkable employment history
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to work as part of a team
- An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach
