Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group, working at an abattoir site in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 area.
Please note that this position is at a working abattoir, patrolling of the site is required.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shifts as per site rota. Monday to Sunday 19:00pm - 07:00am.

Pay rate: £13.12 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Booking out all vehicles to site.
  • Trailer temperature checks and sealing.
  • Control of site keys.
  • Access control to site.
  • Out of hours reception duties.
  • Animal welfare.
  • Basket checks.
  • Site staff and vehicle searches including production areas.
  • Completion of waste documentation.

About you:

  • A valid SIA licence; or applied for.
  • A full five year checkable employment history.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
