An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group, working at an abattoir site in Ellesmere, Shropshire, SY12 area. We offer a company award scheme, optional workplace pension, career progression and access to a substantial free online training academy for professional development. Please note that this position is at a working abattoir.
Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off to cover shifts of 07:00am - 19:00pm. Pay rate £13.12 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Booking out all vehicles to site
- Trailer temperature checks and sealing
- Site BIO Security
- Control of site keys
- Access control to site
- Out of hours reception duties
- Site weigh bridge duties
- Animal welfare
- Pallet checks
- Basket checks
- Site staff and vehicle searches including production areas
- Completion of waste documentation
- Site chiller temperature checks
Person Specification:
- A valid SIA licence or applied for
- A full five year checkable employment history
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Surveillance skills
- Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal
- Have a good level of judgement professionalism
- IT skills
