An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group, working at an abattoir site in Ellesmere, Shropshire, SY12. Patrolling of the site is required.
Hours
On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off to cover shifts of 07:00am – 19:00pm.
Pay rate
£13.62 per hour

Responsibilities
- Booking out all vehicles to site.
- Trailer temperature checks and sealing.
- Site BIO Security.
- Control of site keys.
- Access control to site.
- Out of hours reception duties.
- Site weigh bridge duties.
- Animal welfare.
- Pallet checks.
- Basket checks.
- Site staff and vehicle searches including production areas.
- Completion of waste documentation.
- Site chiller temperature checks.
Person Specification
- A valid SIA licence or applied for.
- A full five year checkable employment history.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
- Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
- IT skills.
