Based within our Barnsley Store, you will receive 1st class training, enabling you to become a Security Brand Ambassador for Kingdom Security, whilst protecting and supporting the customer journey and shopping experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer looking to develop their career with an Industry Leading Security Service Provider.

Where: Morrisons store in Barnsley, S70 area

When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP

Hours: On average hours per week. Various shifts as per site rota.

Salary: £14.00 per hour plus subsidised canteen

Applicants Should Have: Retail Security And Door Supervisor Experience.

Position Criteria – Retail Officer/Loss Prevention

  • Preventing Loss & Preserve Profits.
  • Identifying Shrinkage & Attend Weekly Shrink Meetings.
  • Attend Weekly Meetings with Store Management.
  • Implement Strategies.
  • Reviewing Trends of Crime & Implement Actions to Reduce Criminal Activity.
  • Reviewing Fraud & Internal Theft
  • Liaise with Local Police to build Relationships.
  • Complete Detailed Reports.
  • Liaising with Morrisons Loss Prevention.

About The Role

  • First point of contact for Kingdom Security officers in store
  • Working closely with the local police and crime hubs gathering intel on prolific shoplifters in the area
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
  • Providing a visible deterrent within the store
  • Reducing shrink/stock loss
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Working as part of a team to fulfil customer requirements
  • Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner

About You

  • A minimum of 12 months Security experience – preferably within Retail Security and Door supervising
  • A valid DS SIA Licence
  • Have the ability to manage conflict in a balanced and professional manner
  • Knowledge and experience of A.S.C.O.N.E & PACE
  • A full five-year checkable employment history
