Overview

Customer Service Co-ordinator role in a market-leading aerospace business. This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week with flexible start times between 7 am and 9 am, finishing between 4 pm and 6 pm, plus a half-day on Fridays. You’ll spend three days on site with the team and can work up to two days from home.

Location & Salary

Location: Segensworth, near Portsmouth/Southampton, Hampshire

Salary: Up to £34,000 plus five weeks’ holiday, 11% pension, share-save scheme, supermarket discounts, on-site gym, excellent training and strong support from a long-standing team.

About the role

You’ll be part of a fast-paced team of four supporting a growing customer base. The company has many loyal, long-term partnerships, and you’ll play a key part in maintaining these relationships and delivering excellent service. Most customer interaction is via portals, email and telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Manage allocated accounts day-to-day, keeping customers informed about deliveries and order status
  • Process orders, manage appointments and field customer inquiries via portals, email and telephone
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in coordination with the manager and an experienced team
  • Take part in on-site (and occasional off-site) client meetings

What we’re looking for

  • Proven customer service experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Good IT literacy and confidence using customer portals
  • Interest in regulated standards and processes
  • A proactive, focused approach with a willingness to learn
