Compound Operative β Β£12.92 per hour
Monday to Friday, 8:00am β 4:00pm (early 3:00pm finish on Fridays)
Are you looking for a hands-on role within a friendly and supportive manufacturing team? Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Compound Operative to join their growing business, with the potential to secure a full-time permanent contract after a successful 12-week period.
Responsibilities
- Formulation and compounding, machine minding and operating a filling line
- Keep the factory clean, safe and well-organised
- Handle all materials safely, follow safety protocols and always use PPE
- Operate a forklift to move and store goods (after training)
- Note: due to the nature of products, strong smells can occasionally be present in the production area
Qualifications and attributes
- Flexible and proactive with a strong awareness of health and safety
