Location: Burnley BB11 9SA

Pay: £14.20 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 5 days out of 7, between 07:00 and 19:00 (including weekends)

About The Role

Looking to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact? Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting an experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead from the front in Burnley. You'll play a key role in tackling environmental crime, supporting your team, and ensuring high standards across all operations. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, combining frontline enforcement with team leadership in a dynamic outdoor environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading from the front by carrying out patrols and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs)
  • Managing, motivating, and supporting a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across Northampton
  • Liaising with Local Authority partners and key stakeholders
  • Investigating incidents and responding to public concerns
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training new team members
  • Monitoring team performance, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Preparing reports, case files, and supporting legal processes where required

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Security Licence (essential)
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Professional, confident, and calm under pressure
  • Ability to motivate a team and manage performance effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Knowledge of environmental enforcement or community safety operations (desirable)
