About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our Night Time Economy team in Birmingham city centre on a temporary basis. This role plays a key part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within busy nightlife areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated night-time economy areas, providing reassurance and a visible presence
- Offer support and assistance to members of the public when required
- Work closely with emergency services, providing support when needed
- Liaise with licensed venues to monitor activity and identify any emerging issues
- Gather and share intelligence on trends or concerns within the local area
- Promote a safe, respectful, and enjoyable night-time environment
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Aware of public safety and community engagement
- Previous experience in security, community safety, or similar roles is desirable but not essential
