We are seeking a confident, professional, and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Basildon Express. This role is ideal for someone who can maintain a strong security presence while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling the store to ensure the safety of customers, colleagues, and premises
- Acting as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
- Monitoring the store and responding to incidents appropriately
- Completing accurate reports and recording observations
- Working closely with Tesco colleagues to support day-to-day operations
- Managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
What We're Looking For:
- Valid SIA Licence (essential)
- Full 5-year checkable work history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, confident, and reliable approach
- Good attention to detail and sound judgement
- Previous security experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to work the required shift pattern, including weekends

Additional Information: You will receive a contract of employment from your employer separately. This role is initially on a temporary basis and is not directly employed by Kingdom Service Group. There may be opportunities in the future to transfer onto a permanent Kingdom contract.
