Are you an experienced Service Engineer with experience maintaining generators, UPS systems and control systems? If so, this Service Engineer role is a great opportunity! This role will be covering Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire, Surrey and surrounding areas.
The core working hours for this role are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. The Service Engineer is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing critical power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries, and control systems across customer sites.
- Performing fault diagnostics
- Conducting inspections, installations and commissioning
- Providing technical support
- Completing accurate reports
- Mentoring junior engineers
The role also involves participating in an on-call rota, working flexible hours including weekends and overnights, enforcing safety standards, identifying sales opportunities and contributing to training, planning, and continuous improvement efforts across the business.
Previous experience with service, maintenance and repair of power equipment such as generators, UPS systems, batteries and control systems is required. An appropriate engineering qualification (such as a NVQ Level 3 or C&G) is also necessary, along with flexibility in regard to working hours.
