As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead commercial activities on 12 live projects, ensuring profitable delivery of Education and Commercial schemes. You will work with a senior team to oversee new builds and refurbishments, manage financial reporting and subcontractor payments, and maintain strong financial control. This role offers clear progression within a growing and established Tier 2 contractor. You will shape project outcomes through robust commercial and contractual management (JCT).
Role
- Manage commercial and contractual aspects of 12 live projects
- Oversee new build and refurbishment schemes from start to finish
- Prepare valuations, forecasts, reconciliations, and cost reports
- Handle subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
- Maintain strong financial control and ensure profitable project outcomes
- Provide regular reporting to Commercial Director and senior team
The Candidate
- Solid background as a Quantity Surveyor in general / commercial construction
- Experience on commercial, health or education projects
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Highly motivated, organised, proactive
- Degree in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying
