This role is working for a smoke control systems company in Surrey. The role is a Monday to Friday working week, paying between £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience. It also comes with a vehicle/allowance, phone, laptop, share scheme and development opportunities.
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for delivering smoke ventilation projects from design coordination through to completion, ensuring they meet programme, budget and compliance requirements. This includes managing all commercial aspects such as valuations, variations, risk management and cost control, while maintaining the highest technical and safety standards. The role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, overseeing procurement and logistics and coordinating site resources effectively. The successful candidate will promote best practices, ensure rigorous health and safety compliance, and carry out regular quality audits. Operating between office and site environments across the South East, they will take a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving.

You will need:
- Proven experience managing smoke vent, mechanical or electrical projects
- SMSTS certificate (Valid ECS card or higher, or working towards)
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, up to £1 million in value
- Experience with SimPro software, and drawing tools such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam
- Full Clean Driving License required
