Are you an experienced Transport Coordinator and would like to work for a very well established and successful company? You will be willing to multi-task and also carry out other duties within the warehouse, so you will need an FLT licence. There is a salary of £30,000 plus you will only be working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday every other week!

The Role:

  • Implement excellent communication and paperwork systems for the transportation of the goods.
  • Liaise with Stock Control if any stock discrepancies.
  • Keep a full and accurate list of the products and update daily.
  • Monitor and update the intercompany transport request file and update daily.
  • Organise and improve the loads effectively to maximize efficiency.
  • Log and control any shortages.
  • Route and plan shipments using third party transport companies.
  • Ensure correct paperwork is sent with each load and that this ensures accurate, traceable and proven deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal/external customers to advise on deliveries.
  • Work with the Yard Team to ensure safe and economical stacking ready for deliveries. Ensure no damage is caused on stacking or preparing loads or storing. If damage does occur, remedial works to be completed prior to despatch.
  • All documentation including export and Certificates of Conformity.
  • Provide FLT cover and load if required.
  • Have a sense of urgency and want to deliver excellent customer service to our trailer customers.
  • Assist with ad hoc warehouse duties.

About You:

  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Counterbalance fork lift truck licence essential.
  • Experience of working in a transport setting in previous role(s).
  • IT Literate.

There is a salary of £30,000, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and excellent working hours which include every other Friday off! Working hours are: week 1 7am until 3.30 and 7am until 5pm (Friday off).
